The correct contact depends on the record and custody stage. The Independence County Sheriff's Office runs the jail and provides the county booking sheet and original jail photograph. A police department may hold the incident report, while a court clerk holds the later docket and disposition.

Use the official sheriff FOIA form for a booking sheet, detention log, or original booking photograph. No booking-specific county fee schedule was found. Arkansas FOIA allows actual reproduction and transmission costs, and the custodian may request advance payment when an estimate exceeds $25.

BPD accepts its online FOIA process for police reports. It posts charges of 25 cents per printed page, 30 cents per envelope, 51 cents per stamp, actual media cost, and a prorated $20 per runtime hour for audio or video redaction when processing exceeds three hours. BPD does not keep dispatch CAD or audio.
